With nearly 30 teas on offer, ranging from 1986 oolongs to modern herbal blends, and every color and style in between, we cherish the opportunity to guide each guest to their new favorite tea.

Novel Tea Room is housed in the historic Dubbel Dutch Hotel, an immaculately restored double mansion originally constructed in 1898. Just a few blocks from Lake Michigan, Novel is the perfect moment of rest in any downtown excursion.

Join us Friday-Sunday from 9:00am - 2:00pm to enjoy thoughtfully prepared teas and innovative pastries, straight from our R&D kitchen. We employ gaiwans alongside full tea pots to ensure each tea is brewed to the peak of its potential.
